Borderway Store Sheep Sale

On Monday 24^th July Harrison & Hetherington held their opening sale of Store lambs in Borderway   Market.  A strong show was presented with a total sale average of £81.21.  Topping the sale was a pen of 7 Beltex cross lambs from B Walton, Goodie Hill Farm, for £101.  Texel cross lambs topped at £94 from   Messrs Comish, Wigton for a pen of three.  Young lambs were even more in demand with       multiple May born lambs selling to £75.  Suffolks topped at £90 for some sweet lambs for a pen of 15 from Dan Charnock, Roweltown.   A good show was present with more lambs expected next week.  Please note sale now commence at 11 am every Monday.
