Borderway Store Cattle Sale

STORE CATTLE – On Wednesday 9^th August 2023 Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their weekly sale of 327 Store cattle.  As has been the case in recent weeks strong cattle remain the dish of the day with smaller, weathered types becoming increasingly difficult to place.   Messrs Barnes, Hutton Roof, Penrith did the double this week selling the leading priced bullock at £1710 then matching this price to lead the heifers as well.  Dairy bred store peaked at £1565 for a Limousin from Messrs Dickinson, High House, Wigton.  Next week is the Anniversary Show and Sale, please advise entries to the Auctioneers.
