Borderway Show & Sale of Store Sheep

On Monday 14^th of August, Harrison & Hetherington held its anniversary show & sale of 600 store lambs in Borderway Market. A good show was presented to a good ringside of buyers with strong lambs being a superb trade where long term lambs proved harder to cash. Topping the sale was the champion pen from Dan Charnock, Millholme selling a pen of 10 Beltex cross lambs to the Judge of the day Mr Andrew Graham. Suffolks topped at £92 from J & V Crozier, Faugh selling a smart pen of 10. Texels topped at £98 from J Murray and Son, Branch End whose run of 31 averaged £93.48. Mules peaked at £74 for a pen of 20 from K & SM Johnson, Wolf Hills, Hexham.

A good show was presented with more numbers required to satisfy demand.

The next sale is Monday 21^st August.
