Borderway Beef Breeding Sale

On Wednesday 27^th September Harrison and Hetherington held their monthly Beef Breeding sale at Borderway Mart.  A small show cows and heifers with calves at foot or in calf which included breeding bulls. Rhona McLean’s run of Aberdeen Angus Bulls topped at £2900 Messrs Fletcher, Blackcleuch sold an Aberdeen Angus bull for £2600. Messrs Westmorland, Heathfield Farm sold a Limousin cross heifer and calf for £2650. Messrs Nicholson, Midtown sold a British Blue cross cow and a Limousin cross cow and calves for £2080. Messrs Taylor, High Whinnow run of cows, heifers and calves topped at £2000.
