Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen held their fortnightly sale of Store lambs on Tuesday 10th October where 262 lambs were forward.
Topping the sale at £94 were a pen of Texel cross lambs from Mrs J Wearmouth, Martindale Farm, Crosby Garrett.
Messrs Carr, Nova Scotia, Barnard Castle sold a pen of fifteen Texel cross Mule lambs to make £92.50 with another pen of ten from this home making £92.
Messrs Atkinson, Brackenthwaite Farm sold a pen of thirty Texel cross lambs to make £92.
Mule lambs sold to £88 for a pen from Messrs Carr, Nova Scotia.
Hill Cheviot lambs sold to £85.50 for a pen of ten also from Messrs Carr, Nova Scotia.
All classes and sizes of store lambs were a flying trade and plenty more store lambs can be sold to great demand from buyers here at Kirkby Stephen!
