On Wednesday 25th October at Lazonby Mart, Harrison & Hetherington held their 3rd sale of Mule Gimmer lambs and Swaledale draft ewes. An entry of 1000 mule gimmers went under the hammer to average £90.11 (+£10). Topping the sale was a pen of 7 from SJ & JM Brown, Bowhall selling for £112. T E Clarke sold a pen of 12 to £110. Swale draft ewes topped at £152 for a pen of 11 Shearlings from Messrs Reed, Dyke Nook. Ewes topped at £66 for a pen of 10 (5 Shear) from M & TF Graham, West Foreshields. Tups topped at £180 from Chris Purdham for his Swaledale 2 Shear. A big thank you to all our customers for your continued support.
