Borderway Beef Breeding Sale

On Wednesday 8^th November Harrison and Hetherington held their monthly Beef Breeding sale at Borderway Mart.  A mixed show of cows and heifers and calves was forward which included a major reduction from Mr John  Watson, Dorryfield Farm .  Messrs Cowan, The Ash sold a Limousin x cow and calf for £3000 and £2400.  Messrs Stevenson & Sons, Lower Langshaw Farm sold a Limousin x cow and calf for £2500.  Mr John Watson, Dorryfield Farm, Limousin cows topped at £2200 x2 and £2050 and £2000 and Limousin bulls topped at £2200 and £2100 .  Hindmarsh & Partners, Warkshaugh sold a Simmental cow and calf for £2000.
