Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen held their fortnightly sale of 521 Store lambs.
Topping the sale at £122 were a pen of seven Beltex cross lambs from Messrs Bindloss, Shap Abbey, with this home same home also selling pens at £121, £119, £114 and pens of ten at £113.
Messrs Brown, Catherine Holme, Great Asby sold Beltex cross lambs to £120 and £114.
Messrs Bayles, Haithwaite, Richmond sold a pen of Beltex cross lambs to make £119 with another pen of fifteen Texel cross lambs making £118 also from this home.
Texel cross lambs sold to £119 for a pen of eight from Messrs Marston, Easegill Head, Wharton.
A pen of Dutch Texel cross lambs made £117 from Messrs Robinson, Trainriggs Farm, Kirkby Stehen.
Rough Fell lambs sold to £73.50 for a pen of fifteen from Messrs Chappelhow, Beckstones, Newbiggin on Lune.
All classes of store lambs were dearer with a packed ringside of buyers eager to purchase all types of lambs and an amazing overall sale average of £93.31 being achieved!
