Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 8th November Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of bulls and weaned cattle.

Messrs Cowx, Hudscales topped the bull trade with a tremendous run of Limousins just off their mothers, £1370 and £1340 for the top two. Shorthorn bulls sold to £1180 from Messrs Fletcher, Blackcleugh. Simmental bulls reached £1140 for a 10m old. Bullocks were also a strong trade especially for quality. Messrs Wigham, Hargill House has a Limousin to £1130. Aberdeen Angus bullocks sold to £1040 from Corlett, Skiddaw View. Messrs Wigham, Hargill House also topped the heifers for a real Limousin at £1200. Belted Galloway heifers sold to £1140 again from Messrs Corlett. Another good entry forward. More cattle needed weekly to meet demands.
