Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 15th November Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of bulls and weaned cattle. We saw a similar show of 252 forward, plainer types of cattle were slightly harder to sell but the better end were still a great trade.   Topping the bulls at £1400 was an outstanding Limousin bull from Messrs Gott, Prospect House.  Closely following that at £1390 was again two Limousin bulls from the same home.  Topping the stirk and star of the day at £1390 was an outstanding 13 month old Charolais bullock from Messrs Ross, Romesbroch following that at £1360 from the same good home.  In the heifer section topping the sale at £1170 was a Limousin from Messrs Graham, Hillend and following that at £1140 was again a Limousin, this time from Messrs Todd, The Craggs.
