Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 15th November, Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves.  Top price today goes to Messrs Dun, Jeanfield, Lanark for an outstanding British Blue bull at £600.  This great run of calves averaged at total of £522.50.  Limousin calves were   £460 from Messrs Wadsworth, Big Balcraig who also topped the Angus section at £440 twice,  Herefords were up to £310 twice from Messrs Bargh, Woodclose and Holstein Friesian bulls were up to £345 on 3 occasions from Messrs Harrison, Roundhill.  Blonde bulls topped at £230 from Messrs Imrie, Harelawhole, 

Limousin heifers were up to £420 from Messrs Greenup, Crosshill and Blue heifers topped at £390 on 4 occasions from Messrs Martin, Tempest Tower and Angus heifers topping at £340 from Messrs Greenup, Crosshill once again.
