Borderway Store Cattle Sale

STORE CATTLE – Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of 387 store cattle.  Trade week on week steps up a notch with an expanded company of buyers producing some great returns.   Native cattle featured heavily at the top of the prices with Beef Shorthorn bullocks from Messrs Robinson, Gelt Hall topping the sale of £1900.   Heifers sold to £1800 for Aberdeen Angus from George Smith, Campingholm who also sold two Friesian bullocks to £1630.  Dairy bred British Blues sold to £1820 from David Allen, Dalston.
