Borderway Sale of Calves

On Wednesday 29^th November, Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves. Messrs Wadsworth, Big Balcraig topped the British Blue section at £570 for an outstanding bull. Aberdeen Angus calves sold to £490 from Messrs Reed, Moss Side and Blonde bulls were up to £475 from Messrs Imrie, Harelawhole. Limousin bulls were up to £470 from Messrs Wadsworth, Big Balcraig and black and white bulls sold to £160 from Messrs Dalgleish, Bulls Head and Messrs Reed, Moss Side. Black and whites would be significantly easier on the week.

Heifers were a flying trade topping at £550 from Messrs Martin, Tempest Tower in the British Blue section and Aberdeen Angus heifers sold up to £440 twice from Messrs Reed, Moss Side. Messrs Scott, Shacklehill topped the Limousin section at £345 and Blondes sold to £305 from Messrs Imrie, Harelawhole.
