PRIME LAMBS:
Christmas Show & Sale of Prime Lambs at St Boswells Mart. A fantastic show of 70 pairs of lambs were put forward. The difficult task of judging was expertly undertaken by Mr Jimmy Bell, The Lamb Man, who awarded the Championship to Messrs Anderson, Headshaw, Lauder. The Champion pair went on to realise £230 (50 kgs) to Briggsys Butchers, Jedburgh. The Reserve Champion went to the Suffolk Cross Lambs from Broomilees selling for £164 (54kgs) to Martin Baird, Melrose
