Two Records are Smashed at the 10^th Anniversary 3 Nations Show & Sale!

The Sportsmans pen was the star attraction of the sale, fetching a new Female breed record of 40,000gns for a Salopian Solid Gold daughter in lamb to the 52,000gn Lakeview ram lamb. She sold carrying a single and joins the Sharps flock of Jed Sharp, Worcestershire.

A second record was broken, this time the ewe lamb, attaining 28,000gns! This was paid for the Reserve Champion in the pre sale show belonging to the Rhaeadr flock of Myfyr Evans. She was the pen leader and was sired by Dunfell Dynamite who was sired by the 200,000gn record holder Salopian Solid Gold. She joins the Lakeview Flock of Stewart Craft, Fife.

The Sportsmans flock feature again at 15,000gns for their pen leader, she sold carrying a pair again to the 52,000gn Lakeview lamb. She was again a Salopian Solid Gold daughters in lamb to the 52,000gn Lakeview ram to the Rhaeadr flock of Myfyr Evans.

Aberdeenshire breeder, Jim Innes and shepherd Michael Leggat, Dunscroft, Huntly, also had a great day topping at 10,000gns from the Strathbogie flock.  A Salopian Scuderia daughterinlamb to the Rempston Gambler ram she joins the Tombridge flock of Holly Bowdler, Shropshire.

The Flintshire based Groes flock of Arnold Oare purchased a ewe lamb from the Rhaeadr flock. A full ET sister to the record priced lamb sold earlier, she sold for 8000gns.

The Sportsmans success continues with their next best selling to 6000gns. Another Salopian Solid Gold daughter, she is an ET sister to 40,000gn gimmer sold earlier. She sold to Powys breeder Paul Delves, Bridgeview flock.

Matching this price was the Frongoy pen of Dafydd Jones. A full sister to the Royal Welsh Champion, a Strathbogie Rock on Tommy daughter, she sold carrying twins to Ballynacannon Flash Man and sold to the Lavenaham flock of Stephen Cobbald.
