Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly Sale of cast and OTM cattle.

Topping the sale bother pence per kilo and per head at 205.5p and £1376.85 was a 670kg Holstein cow from Messrs Chippendale Wharton Hall which sold to Messrs Fell. Another Holstein cow from this home sold to make £1293.20.

Messrs Owen, Sandwath Farm, Kirkby Stephen sold an eleven year old 712kg Limousin cross Black & White cow to make 176.5p totalling £1256.68 selling to Messrs Roberts, Wales.

Messrs Beckwith, New Hall, Barras sold a five year old 662kg Limousin cross Black & White cow to make 180.5p/kg totalling £1194.91 selling to D Barker.

Messrs Goad, Burton Hill, Dent sold a fourteen year old 725kg British Blue cross Black & White cow to make 164.5p/kg £1192.63 selling to D. Barker.

The next sale of cast cows and OTM cattle at Kirkby Stephen will be on Monday 8^th January 2024.
