Borderway sale of Weaned Calves

On Wednesday 20^th December Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of bulls and weaned cattle seeing trade rise to similar levels of the Spring.  Bulls top at £1450 for a pair of Limousin from Messrs Hughes, Dona Close.  The same home had others at £1400.  A lesser quality of stirks saw trade back to its best.  Limousin bullocks topped at £1400 and £1390 again from Messrs Hughes.  Heifers top at £1300 for a Simmental heifers from Messrs Goldsbrough, Oakrigg Farm, Moffat.
