Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 3^rd January Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of bulls and weaned cattle.  Store bull and stirk trade brought a smile to all vendors selling at the first sale of the New Year.  Limousin bulls sell to £1170 from Messrs Emslie, Peterhead.   Others sell to £1160 from Messrs Mattinson,  Burthwaite.  Charolais bulls sell to £1160 from Messrs Marrs, Broomhills.   Bullocks and heifers also sold very well.  Limousin heifers sold to £1300 and Limousin bullocks to £1260 from Messrs Mattinson, Burthwaite.   Simmental bullocks sell to £1170 from Messrs Dickinson, High Wood End and Shorthorns to £1160 from Messrs Fletcher, Blackcleugh.  Next weeks sale at 12.30 Ring 4.
