At Wooler on Wednesday 3^rd January Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 970 Sheep comprising 660 Hoggs and 310 Cast Ewes and Rams

A varied show forward selling nicely to average 280p overall.

The sale was topped with 2 pens of heavy Texels to £170 from G.R Hindmarsh & Son, Lindean Hillhead to Thompsons (Wholesale Meats)

Cast sheep at Wooler Auction Mart opened up 2024 with a strong trade for all classes with a  mixed show forward.  All classes welcomed to meet buyer demands for the coming year.
