Wooler Primestock Sale

At Wooler on Wednesday 10^th January Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 1204 Sheep comprising 866 Hoggs and 338 Cast Ewes and Rams

Hoggs: Well fleshed types good to sell.  Leaner commercials easier on the week. 

Sale was topped with a heavy Beltex/Texel at £170 from A & D Proctor, Swarland Old Hall to Thompsons Wholesale Meats

Cast Ewes: A strong trade for the show of sheep forward with well fleshed extreme sorts taking the top prices.  More numbers required for buyers demand.
