Borderway Store Sheep Sale

On Monday 15^th January Harrison and Hetherington conducted the weekly sale of 500 store lambs in Borderway Mart. Another great trade was witnessed with a sale average of £83.55 being achieved. Topping the sale was a single Texel lamb from M & A Faulder, Ewan Close selling for £133. This amazing run of 30 went on to average a sensational £125.86. Messrs Dixon, Whinney Hill sold a pen of 15 Suffolks to £122. Mules peaked at £92 for a pen of 31 from Messrs Marrs, Manor Farm.

More sheep can be sold to vendor’s advantage.
