Borderway Store & Breeding Sheep Sale

On Monday 5^th February Harrison and Hetherington conducted the weekly sale of store lambs in Borderway Mart. A larger show of genuine store lambs was forward to a fantastic trade throughout. Topping the sale was a pair of Suffolk’s from BN & S Urwin, Hexham selling for £139. Texel lambs topped at £136 for three from Mile & Marie Faulder. Hill sheep topped at £97 for 6 of Messrs Lambert, Townhead. In lamb sheep topped at £140 for a Dutch Spotted ewe carrying triplets from RJ & J Ireland, Canonbie.

Many more could be sold to vendor’s advantage.
