Kirkby Stephen Cast Cows & OTM Cattle

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly Sale of cast and OTM cattle when 51 cattle were forward.

Topping the sale at £2269.95 was a 818kg Limousin cross cow making 277.5p/kg from Messrs Brown, Asby Hall, Asby.

Topping at 299.5p was a 578kg British Blue cow which totalled £1731.11 from Messrs Wilson, Arngill House, Middleton in Teesdale.

Messrs Brass, Bridge End Farm, Soulby sold an 8 year old British Blue cow which weighed 840kg to make £2146.20 (255.5p/kg).

Dairy cows topped at £1461.09 and 215.5p/kg for a 678kg Holstein/Friesian cow from Messrs Beck, Townfoot, Tebay.
