At Wooler on Wednesday 7th February Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 649 Sheep comprising 357 Hoggs and 292 Cast Ewes and Rams

All classes well sold with many tailend lots forward
Sale was topped with heavy Texels to £170 from George Redpath, Berryhill to A.Atkinson, Harrogate

A lift on the week again in trade saw all classes of Cast Sheep sell to new heights for this season at Wooler
Sale top of £201 for a Texel from Moor & Son Ltd, Nesbit Farmhouse, whilst tups topped at £157 also for a Texel from N & J Sanderson, Greenhead, Reston
Catching the eye was a pen of 13 Half Bred Ewes achieving £143 a head from Moor & Son Ltd, Nesbit Farmhouse
