Borderway Store Sheep Sale

On Monday 12^th February Harrison and Hetherington conducted the weekly sale of store lambs in Borderway Mart. A simply blistering sale was witnessed with a total sale average of £107.29. Topping the sale was a pair of Texel lambs from A Mounsey, Wigton for £154. The same home sold a great run of 21 to average £124.76. The Beltex lambs topped at £120 from JB & SM Mounsey, Ashfield. Messrs Cowx, Town End, Wigton sold a pen of 40 mules to £116.

Many more could be sold to vendor’s advantage.
