Borderway Sale of Weaned Cattle

Wishing you a happy valentines day from ring number 4! On Wednesday 14th February Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of bulls and weaned cattle where trade yet again took another rise, warming the hearts of all vendors. Bulls sold to £1360 twice, first for a Limousin from Messrs Dent, Beamwham and then for a Simmental from Messrs Lowry, New Steadings Farm. Aberdeen Angus bulls sold to £1320 from Messrs Gilchrist, Ingraston who also has others at £1290, £1200 and £1000. Heifers topped at a whopping £1500 for a pair of Limousins from Messrs Carlyle, Slealands. Bullocks topped at £1320 from Messrs Dixon, Upper Burnmouth who also sold others to £1270, £1200 and £1110.
