Lockerbie Store Cattle Sale

A PHENOMENAL TRADE ONCE AGAIN!

On Tuesday 5^th March, Lockerbie Mart, Harrison and Hetherington held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle and once again we see more of the same on the trade front with a busy ringside of buyers throughout.

A Limousin heifer topped the day at £1720 from Messrs Wilson, Reddings who also had others at £1680 and £1640. Aberdeen Angus heifers sold to £1700 twice once from Messrs Goldie, Skipmyre and once from Messrs Wilson, Essie.

Limousin bullocks sold to 356ppk from Messrs Porteous, Penlaw for a nice pair. Messrs Wright, Hunthills, also sold a nice pen of 3 Limouisn bullocks for 352ppk. A 446kg Charolais bullock sold to 330ppk from Messrs Hyslop, Maryfield. Heiferssell to 356ppk for a real pen of heifers from Messrs Wilson, The Reddings
