Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 13^th March Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves.  Top price today goes to Connell Farms Ltd topping at £700 for a Simmental bull. A British Blue bull from Messrs Paul, Greigsland topped at £660.  Messrs Fox, Windy Hill topped at £570 for a topper of a Limousin and Messrs Dun, Jeanfield topped the Angus section at £555.  Fleckviehs topped at £540 from Connell Farm who also had the highest priced Black and White at £380.

British Blue heifers topped at £660 from Messrs Dun, Jeanfield for a strong calf.  Four Angus heifers topped at £450 from Messrs Horsley, Whitrigg Grange and Limousins heifers topped at £490 from Messrs Fox, Windy Hill.
