Kirkby Stephen OTM & Cast Cows

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly Sale of cast and OTM cattle.

Topping the sale at £1751.22 was a eight year old Limousin cross cow from Messrs Taylor, Gilts, Crosby Ravensworth.

Messrs Taylor also topped at 221.5p/kg for a 747kg (£1654.61) British Blue cross cow.

All classes were in very strong demand with numbers tighter country wide.

A overall sale average of 191.34p/kg and £1323.90.
