Borderway Sale of Calves

On Wednesday 27^th March Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves with a great entry of 510 calves.  Top price today goes to Messrs McNabney, Barsalloch topping at £660 for an excellent  Charolais bull calf.  Messrs Reed, Moss Side House topped the British Blue bulls at £610. Messrs Sloan, Rye Muir Farm, Lochmaben had the top priced bulls in the Limousin and Angus section at £605 from an outstanding run of a dozen calves in this consignment.  Herefords topped at £500 from McNabney Bros and Fleckviehs topped at £490 from Messrs Hyslop, Meinside.  Black and Whites topped at £320 from Messrs Vevers, High Plains.  British Blue heifers topped at £580 from Messrs Osborne, Cow Lane and Messrs Sloan, Ryemuir topped the Limousin heifer Section at £500 and McNabney Bros topping the Angus heifers at £570.
