A belter of a trade witnessed for a very mixed show of ewes forward saw again hill bred and lean sorts fetching a premium, whilst heavy bred types are well short of buyers requirements

Topping at £149 for a superb suffolk ewe from Lilburn Estates (Roseden) whilst 3 blackface tups from D I Rock Farming, Hethpool caught the eye fetching £105 per head
