On Monday 1st March Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store and breeding sheep.
BREEDING SHEEP: In lamb hoggs were once again very well bid for with quality in demand. Top price was achieved by an excellent pen of 6 from Messrs Ramsey, Dockray Hall selling to £250 a head. The full consignment from this home went on to average £207.93.
Ewes and lambs sold to a top price of £110 a head again from Messrs Ramsey.

STORE SHEEP: Store sheep were slightly easier on the week but a very mismatched show on offer.
