Borderway Pet Lamb Sale

On Monday 15^th April Harrison and Hetherington conducted the weekly sale of Pet Lambs in Borderway Mart.

Despite wintery conditions the trade for pet lambs goes up the way in the warmth of Rind 4.

The top end of lambs sell well however it was the bottom end of poorer weathered lambs that took the trade by storm.

Suffolk lambs prove the flavor of the week, selling to a top of £20 for a Suffolk cross ewe lamb from Messrs Ward, Whitstonehill, Lockerbie, followed by Texels to £16 for a ewe lamb from Messrs Willison, Bybeck Farm, Penrith.
