Borderway Pet Lamb Sale

On Monday 22^nd April Harrison and Hetherington conducted the weekly sale of Pet Lambs in Borderway Mart.

Topping the sale at £200 was a Valais Blacknose ram lamb from Anne Garthwaite, Satur Mill. Following that was £32 for a Texel lamb from Messrs Brown, Whitehill, Hexham who also had a texel lamb reaching £28. Dutch Spotted lambs topped at £22 from Messrs Dixon. The Suffolks had a top of £15 for a pen of 3 from Messrs Ward Whistonehill. Hill Cheviots reached £19 from Messrs Turkington, Satchells whose run of 10 went on to average £13.20. 

Next week will be our final pet lamb sale of the season, all classes wanted.
