Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 1^st May, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly Sale of weaned cattle. All types of cattle up on the week in ring number 4 with especially the grass types through the roof.  Bulls started the day off with a bang topping at £1690 for a 10 month old Limousin from Messrs Evans, Halmyre.  The same home had others at £1600 and £1500.  Simmental  bulls sold to £1560 from Pearsbyhall Farming.  Twelve month old bullocks sold to £1440 from Messrs Nichol, Lawston Farm .  Others sold to £1420 from Messrs Elliot, Hallburn Croft.
