Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 22nd May Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves with a smaller show forward.  Top price today goes to Messrs Dun, Jeanfield topping the British Blues at £625 for a strapping strong bull calf.  Messrs Horsley, Whitrigg Grange topped the Angus section at £570.  Black and whites topped at £270 twice from How End Farms, Thursby and Messrs Morley, Hadderdale.  Herefords were up to £250 from Messrs Miller, Scaleby Farm and the Limousin section at £510 from Messrs Clarkson, Elrington Hall.

Heifers were up to £600 from Messrs Dun, Jeanfield for a lovely Blue heifer.  Angus heifers topped at £470 from Messrs Campbell, Carsewalloch and Limousin heifers topped at £410 from Messrs Graham, Greenah Cragg.
