Borderway Store Cattle Sale

STORE CATTLE – Another fantastic entry of 487 Store cattle forward this week which all sold to exceptional rates, all types are sold to a vast array of bidders at Borderway.

The sale averaged £1406 with a big variety of cattle forward from P-E grades and all weights and ages.

Messrs Fowlie, Guise, Aberdeen stole the show with a phenomenal run of 80 yearlings topping at £5500 and £5200 for Limousin x heifers setting a weekly Wednesday record price.  Bullocks sold to £2080 for a Beef Shorthorn from regular supporters, Messrs Robinson, Gelt Hall, Brampton.  Dairy bullocks sold from the same home to £1720 for Friesians.  All classes needed next week.
