Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 29th May, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of weaned cattle as Ring Number 4 leads the way in the North of England and South West Scotland with an entry of 436 weaners forward which included 105 bulls.  Messrs Stott, Shaw Head sold two Charolais bulls for £1750 and £1700.  Messrs Goldie, Greenfield bulls topped at £1480 and £1420 for Charolais x bulls and £1400 for a Beef Shorthorn.  Messrs Watson, Sanders Close run of Limousin bulls topped at £1460.  Messrs Dale Sunley, Ross Farm, bulls topped at £1450 for a Limousin.  Messrs Goldie, Newbie Mains Simmental bulls topped at £1390.  Messrs Strick, Overby House sold an 11 month old Saler bullocks for £1340.  Messrs Livingstone, Far Hill sold a Limousin x heifer for £1310.
