Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held the dispersal sale of Swaledale Gimmer hoggs on behalf of Patrick & Kirsty Sowerby, Oakbank Farm.
Trade was sensational, topping at £3500 for a Oakbank Harry sired hogg which sold to Messrs Fawbert, York.
Another Oakbank Harry sired hogg sold to £2600 to Messrs Hall, Keld.
17 Hoggs sold between £1000-£3500.
A pen of seven selling for £1400 per head selling to Sean Tully, Barnard Castle.
The overall average for 104 Swaledale hoggs was £438.94.
