Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

Once again a great entry of 310 stirks was forward in Ring 4.  Messrs Vaughan, High Dovecote sold the top priced Simmental bull for £1450.  Messrs Moscrop, Ryeclose sold the top priced Limousin bull at £1360. British Blue bulls sold to a top price of £1280 and £1250 from Messrs Hope, Mouldy Hills. Messrs Harrison, Lesson Hall Farm sold Limousin x heifers for £1450.  A run of Limousin x heifers from Messrs Routledge & Son, Netherton sold to a top of £1400.  Messrs Preston, Pallet Hill sold a Limousin x bullock for £1380 and a Limousin x heifer for £1320.  Finally, Messrs Tallentire, High Griseburn sold a Limousin x bullock for £1360 and a Simmental  x bullock for £1280.
