Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

A colourful array of breeds, shapes and sizes was met with an unbeatable trade.  Bull started in tremendous fashion with Pure Limousins selling to £1660 from Messrs Graham, Hetherside.  British Blue bulls sold to £1540 from Messrs Watson, Whygill Head.   Black and whites bulls sold to £1040 from the same home.  Cows and calves sold to £1550 for a Holstein cow with a young British Blue calf at foot from Messrs Jamieson.  Bullocks and heifers also fly off the shelves with plenty of buyers for grass type cattle.  Heifers top at £1410 from Messrs Murray, The Throp for a cracking Limousin, other Limousins heifers sold to £1340 from Messrs Gilleard.  Limousin bullocks sold to £1120 from Messrs Reid, Calfpark.  Aberdeen Angus heifers sell to £1220 and £1170 from Milescott Farm Partnership.
