On Monday 17th June 2024 Borderway Mart had a small offering yet good quality show of ewes with lambs at foot. Demand was a lot sharper on the week topping at £130/life for Texel cross hoggs with lambs at foot from R Pigg & Son, Gaitsgill Hall, Dalston. Full mouthed Mule ewes with twin texel lambs sold to £110/life for a strong pen of 27 from R Lamb, St Bees. Texel cross Mule Shearlings with twin texel lambs sold to £120/life from regular consignors K & SM Johnson, Woofhills, Coanwood. The Sale averaged a very respectful £99.80/life and many more outfits could have been sold.
