A superb go for an improved show of quality forward.  Heavy bred sorts short of buyers requirements, whilst hill bred and leaner sorts fetched a premium!
Summit of the sale was £138 for a pair of powerful Hampshire Ewes from J.Laird, St Clements Wells.  Whilst the Texel section was sharp behind topping at £135 on two occasions for cross bred Ewes from Matfen Home Farm (Corbridge) c/o I.Bonn and again from Huntington Farm.
Greyfaces sold to £113 spearheading a consignment of Ewes sold from The Nurseries, Dunfermline, Fife! Catching the buyers eye were 10 monstrous Blackface Tups at £111 a head  from A.P Clark & Son, Blakehope!
