STORE CATTLE – On Wednesday 10th July 2024 Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly store cattle sale with a good entry of 229 cattle forward, with a large keen ringside of buyers ensuring a sharper trade on the week.  Messrs Grice & Son, Newtown Farm sold Limousin x bullocks for £1930 and £1830.  Messrs Johnstone, Westray Farm, run of cattle topped at £1850 for a Limousin x bullock and £1770 for a Limousin x Holstein Friesian.  Messrs Knox, Cragside sold a Limousin x heifer for £1840.  Messrs Litt, Greengill Farm run of cattle topped at £1780 for a Charolais x.  David Allen run of British Blue x heifers topped at £1760.
