Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday, 17th July Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of Weaned cattle.  With over 300 bulls and stirks forward yet again the strong trade continues from the previous week and shows no let up

Bulls at 14 month old hit £1960 for strong Simmentals from Messrs Fairhurst, Bank End.  The same home had others to £1940 and £1920.  12 month old Limousins bulls sell to £1580 from Messrs Maw, Wintershields,  British Blue bullocks hit £1330 from Messrs Hill, Wolsty, while Limousin bullocks reach £1300 from Messrs Carr, Pasture House.  Limousin heifers sell to £1390 and £1370 from Messrs Wharton, Highfield Farm,
