Borderway Calf Sale

Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves on Wednesday 17^th July. 

Todays trading saw 380 calves sold through borderway. Top price today goes to Messrs Bunting Midtown topping at £690 for an outstanding Charolais bull calf. Messrs Connel East Drummodie topped the Angus section at £590 for a topper of a bull and Messrs Beard, Dormanstead headed the Blue bull trade at £570. £445 was top price Simmental from Messrs Byers,  Whitehills and Limousins were up to £475 from Messrs Morris,  Greengatehouse.

Heifers were a pleasing trade once again with Blues topping at £520 from regular consigner  Messrs Dun,  Jeanfield and Angus heifers were also up to £520 from Connel Farms,  East Drummodie. Messrs Bunting also topped the limousin heifer section at £470 for a smart heifer and this consignment also topped the Charolais heifer section at £600.  All classes of calves can be sold here at Borderway on a weekly basis please contact one of our auctioneers for any assistance of information.
