Borderway Beef Breeding

On Wednesday, 24^th July Harrison and Hetherington held their monthly Beef Breeding sale at Borderway Mart.  A mixed show of cows and calves were forward.  Messrs Dempster, Castlehill run of cows and calves topped at £2300 twice firstly for a Limousin x cow and calf and once for a Charolais  x cow and calf.  Messrs Dixon, Beech House run of cow and calves topped at £2250 for a Limousin cow and calf and £2200 for a Blue x cow and calf.  Messrs Irving, Stoneleigh sold the top priced Limousin x heifer and calf for £2250.  Messrs Bowe, Midtown farm sold Limousin bulls for £2800 (x2).
