Wooler Store Cattle Show & Sale

At Wooler on Tuesday 9^th March Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual Show and Sale for The Robin Scott Trophy. Taking charge of the days judging throughout the sale was T Comber, Elwick.

Taking the top spot was a fabulous yearling Charolais.x Steer from T M Thompson, Howick Seahouses raising £1300, the same animal also topped the day’s trading.

Trade throughout was vibrant with a full ring of buyers seeing a tremendous show of yearling cattle gracing the ring.

Topping the pence per kilo was regular consignor Fawdon Farms with Charolais.x Steers at 302.9ppk.

Plenty of yearling steers breaking the £1100 bracket with 36 lots over and above this.
