Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday, 7^th August Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of Weaned cattle. 

An increased number of 257 stirks was forward with a great ring side of buyers ensuring a flying trade.  A good entry of bulls was forward with Mr Steven Wilson selling an eleven month old Limousin bull for £1550.  Mr Paul Davidson, Old Irvine Farm sold the top priced Simmental bull for £1450 and a pen of 3 Limousin x bulls for £1420.  Messrs Fletcher, Wickness Bungalow sold a Charolais x bullock for £1570.  Messrs Carr & Son, Brackenhill sold the top priced Angus bullock at £1460.  Messrs Johnston, Kimmeter Green sold the top price British Blue x bullock for £1440.  Messrs Hodge, The Grove sold the top pried Limousin x heifer for £1400.  Auchengray Farm sold the top priced Simmental heifer for £1400.  A Limousin x heifer and calf sold for £1760.
