Monday 12th August 2024 Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store lambs with an entry of just shy of 800 head averaging £103.50.  Some good runs of lambs coming through with the stronger end very fiercely bid for.  Not many smaller long keep lambs on offer today but a solid enquiry of buyers saw all classes in high demand.  Ewe lambs sold to £165 for a Blue Texel from H Gardhouse, Cowgate with other to £155 and £150.  Corry McWhirter sold a smart Black Beltex x to £150 with more Beltexs selling to £142 and £140 from Goodlie Hill.  Suffolk lambs sold to £138 from Dan Charnock, Millholme,  The Murrays of Branch End sold a pen of 45 well fleshed Texel x mules to £120.  Longer keep lambs still cashing in at over £90.
